(Reuters) -Microsoft on Wednesday denied claims that it makes spend of buyer data from its Microsoft (NASDAQ:) 365 applications, in conjunction with Word and Excel, to put together artificial intelligence objects.

The response came after some users identified on social media that the firm requires users to decide-out of its “linked experiences” feature, which they argued change into historical to put together AI objects.

“These claims are erroneous. Microsoft would not spend buyer data from Microsoft 365 user and commercial applications to put together foundational astronomical language objects,” a Microsoft spokesperson said in an emailed observation to Reuters.
