England prop Ellis Genge is one of 10 Bristol Bears changes for their final Investec Champions Cup Pool 2 game with Clermont Auvergne.
Genge is named alongside Gabriel Oghre and George Kloska in a new-look front row, while James Dun returns to the second row.
England scrum-half Harry Randall is also included from the start, while Bristolian wing Deago Bailey makes his first European appearance of the season.
Centre Joe Jenkins partners Benhard Janse van Rensburg in midfield and replacement prop Max Lahiff will make his 100th appearance for the club if he comes off the bench.
Bristol, who kept their qualification hopes alive with a bonus-point victory over Benetton in round three, know a victory could be enough to finish in the top four and reach the knockout stages.
Bears are currently bottom of the pool but victory would take them above their hosts, who are fifth. Third-place Bath and fourth-place Benetton face tricky away games against Leinster and La Rochelle, respectively.
Clermont, meanwhile, make four changes to the side beaten at Bristol’s Premiership rivals Bath in their last outing.
Prop Sacha Lotrian replaces the suspended Giorgi Akhaladze, while Michael Ala’Alatoa is also named in the front row.
In the backs, Alivereti Raka returns on the wing and Mathys Belaubre is recalled to outside centre.
Like Bristol, Clermont are also on five points and in need of a victory while also relying on results elsewhere.
